In honor of our brother Ken's 40th birthday, here are 10 things related to Ken and 40. We were going to do 40, but figured we could just multiply these 10 facts by his 4 awesome sisters and get 40.

1. Casey Kasem's Top 40 debuted in 1970. The top song that year was the Jackson 5's "I'll be there"
2. Ken was born on 1-15-1970 at 3:21 pm. 1+15+19+7+0-3+2-1=40
3. On February 24th, 1970, when Ken was 40 days old, ABC aired "Quarantined" as their movie of the week.
4. On October 25, 1970, when Ken was 40 weeks old, Quenton Terrell Lowery, an outfielder for the Chicago Cubs, was born in Oakland, California.
5. In May 1973, when Ken was 40 months old the special Senate committee began televised proceedings on the Watergate affair.
6. Ken was 16 when the price of a Hershey's bar was raised to 40 cents.
7. The only member of the 40-40 Club not linked to steroids is CUBS player, Alfonso Soriano.
8. Fellow Illinois native, Ronald Reagan was the 40th president.
9. Minus 40 degrees Celsius is exactly the same as minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit - and Ken likes it when -40 = -40.
10. The 40th state added to the union was South Dakota - and Ken has state quarters with South Dakota on them.

Happy Birthday to our big brother, who is now in his 40s, while we are still both in our 20s.
