Wow, Friday was a crazy day for both of us. Libby had to take Maddi to an eye appointment, since at her kindergarten screening they said she might need glasses. She does indeed need glasses, which she got to pick out today. Stay tuned for pictures soon!
I was busy planning my trip to Minneapolis, inside of which I also planned a last minute trip to Las Vegas. Libby is going to keep all 3 of my kids while I go to a Wheel of Fortune audition in Vegas. I went to a Wheel Mobile event about a month ago - I didn't get up on stage, but I filled out a form, and I got chosen for the 'final' auditions. I don't know how many people will be there, or for how many slots, but being the huge WOF fan that I am, everyone seems to think I should not pass the opportunity up and have the 'what-ifs' hanging over my head. So I leave Wednesday evening, have the audition Thursday morning, and fly home Friday morning.
What a roller coaster - I'm anxious and excited about the game show, psyched to see Dan, and nervous about leaving my babies, especially since I've just been away from the boys and have never left Sera before. But they all love their Auntie Libby, and I'm sure the time will fly for everyone.
The kids and I made it to Libby's around 6 last night. The kids are getting along really well. The boys are getting a little mixed up about all the aunties... sometimes they call libby auntie pam or auntie tracy, so we correct them, so they just started calling her "Maddi Mae's Mom".
Last night we had a jam session with Ryan's Guitar Hero World Tour. The kids are grooving to No Doubt's "Spiderweb" - which Noah and Xander are fittingly dressed for. I shall let the video say the rest...
Do you really think Sera will do okay away from you for that long?
