Today we went to Miller Park, they (not sure who they is) but they have remodeled it to be one of the biggest best laid out parks I have ever been to. Except for one stupid "a man with no kids designed this" part.
There are two sections, a section for smaller kids, with littler slides, wider stairs and walk-ways, spinney "Xs and Os" etc. and a bigger kid part with tall slides and monkey bars, and a barrel roller. But right in the middle of the two sections is this water pump sand area!!! Seriously???? If I wanted my kids to be covered in wet - yucky - get everywhere sand I would take them to the beach - which since I live in Minnesota there are 10,000 of! So while the kids were mostly occupied with the wonderful new play equipment I spend most of my time trying to keep Logan out of the mud maker!
Nice try park designers but not so much!!!
ha ha! I like this post, so true, I can imagine, though I don't have kids....
